Swimwear

Swim-specific fabrics are ideal for this pattern. Look for 4-way stretch lycra for the best fit. If you’re making your bikini top as a top or your swimsuit as a bodysuit, feel free to experiment with stretch cottons or jerseys for a less beachy look. You may want to size up if using a fabric with less stretch.

Beachskirt

A light cotton or linen is the obvious choice if you want to wear this as a beach skirt. But make this your all year round go to by making it in any woven fabric, such as denim, wool, corduroy or twill.

Thinking outside the pattern pack:

This pattern would lend itself to a stunning modification as a twist-front evening dress.

You could work with a cotton jersey for the top and then a denim, heavy cotton, or even satin for a workwear or evening variation on the skirt.

To make the skirt and either swimsuit or CiCi bikini top in the same fabric for a seamless look, a Ponte Roma would work perfectly.
